Winery Review: The nose is lightly toasted with aromas of black currant, blueberries and cherries. The mouth is smooth with flavors of black cherry and cocoa. This medium bodied wine showcases fruit while undertones of oak add to the complexity. Smooth, long finish. Pairs well with roast chicken, pork tenderloin, and cheeses such as camembert or brie.
My Review: Possible my favorite red blend I've ever had. Bought a bottle right away. Great nose of cherry and blueberries with a smooth taste of frutiness and a wonderful finish. Drank this at Blacksburg Fork and Cork with my pulled pork sandwich and it was AMAZING!
I did not drink this wine with food.
